The Child labour

Monday, November 15th, 2010

Child labour is one of the most depressing yet recent exploitation in the modern world. The children who are working are getting to grow in numbers. It is considered as exploitation because any child below the age of 14 years should not be allowed to work but sad to say, they are forced to. This is because if a child below 14 will work in a factory, the child won’t be able to study and develop in life. And the worse, children are being forced to engage in the sex trade.

The Convention – Rights of children

Monday, November 1st, 2010

The mission of UNICEF is to advocate the protection of rights of the children in order to meet the basic need of the children, and helping the children reach their full potential as well. The convention is universally agreed set of obligations and non-negotiable standards – the minimum rights and freedoms that must be respected by the government. These are founded on the high respect for the worth of every individual regardless of race, colour, religion and wealth.
